Discover the Musical Magic of Nuage’s “Ohhh”
An Inner Dialogue of Art
Last year, we had the pleasure of discovering the unique and evocative music of Nuage with his iconic release “0% Anxiety”. Since then, we’ve been avidly following his artistic journey, eagerly anticipating each new creation. Recently, Nuage released a new track titled “Ohh,” and we reached out to him to learn more about it. He graciously provided us with an insightful and heartfelt explanation:
"Ohhh is a flashback to the breakbeat, which I’ve been experimenting with since 2011. I started with a demo around two years ago and continued to work on it a few months ago. I sampled funk drums, ethnic instruments, cinematic and spoken word samples. My friend, a pianist, replayed the main chord part which I had resampled from different tracks. 'Ohh' is a warm, organic texture with a strong influence of broken beats and electronica. This is the first single off the ‘Slow’ EP coming on Stereofox this summer."
Isn’t that fascinating? Nuage’s dedication to his craft and his ability to blend diverse sounds into a cohesive piece of art is truly remarkable. We encourage you to support Nuage by buying and streaming his music through the links provided below.
While you’re at it, take some time to familiarize yourself with the artistic genius behind “Ohh.”
In addition to his musical talents, Nuage has a deep appreciation for monumental structures. For instance, the structure featured below is a 70-year-old barrier in Armenia, originally built to prevent mudflows. Though it no longer serves its original purpose, it remains a massive and impressive sight.
"This is the barrier preventing the mud flows, built 70 years ago. Now it’s not working, but it still looks really massive." - Nuage
Nuage’s fascination with such monumental structures adds another layer of depth to his artistic persona, making his music and his story even more compelling.
